Light Summer Breakfast

Esay_melon

I love simple things. Like simple food, simple pictures, simple days and so on… Of course a really special and complex meal does taste extremely good and it’s fun to create it. Nevertheless most of the time I crave the easy meals and most often I enjoy them even more. Just take a look at the picture, it’s really that simple but still super delicious haha. Probably the little things in life are the ones that make every day a little better, a little happier – especially if you share them with other people ♥ So keep your eyes open and try not to focus on the “more special” things only.

Honestly I have no clue what’s going on in Germany but the weather is so much more like fall than summer – which I really do like actually. Zubereitung:

Method:

Make sure the pumpkin is clean before you remove its seeds and cut it into pieces. Afterwards peel the piece of ginger with a teaspoon and chop it. Place the maple syrup, the pumpkin and the ginger into a pan and let it cook for one minute over high heat. Next season with salt and pepper, add the vegetable stock and reduce the heat to medium. After 10 minutes it’s time to add the coconut milk and the other spices. Finally blend the soup and serve it hot!

Enjoy your meal and have a great day! x

Chocolate Banana Oatmeal

schokoporridge

Chocolate makes life soooo much better. I loved seeing the few pieces melting on my hot “breakfast” (to be honest I ate it as dinner as well, it’s so addicting hahha) which made it look even more delicious – aaaaah so good! This bowl is basically filled with everything I personally love and it’s super satisfying. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and create your own personal favorite!

Zutaten/Ingredients

Haferbrei:
1/2 Tasse zarte Haferflocken
1 reife Banane
1 Tasse Reismilch
1,5 TL rohes Kakaopulver

Zum Dekorieren:

Him- & Blaubeeren
ein paar Bananenscheiben
Zartbitterschokolade
Hanfsamen
Kokosraspeln
(Ahornsirup)
Oatmeal:
1/2 cup rolled Oats
1 ripe Banana
1 cup Rice Milk
1,5 tsp raw Cacao Powder

Toppings:

Rasp- & Blueberries
a few Banana Slices
Dark Chocolate
Hemp Seeds
Coconut Flakes
(Maple Syrup)

Zubereitung

Method
First of all add the banana to a pan and mash it with a fork (you could also squeeze it a little using your hands before opening the banana; that way it’s easier using the fork afterwards). Now place the oats, cocoa powder and rice milk into the pan as well. Let it cook over medium heat and make sure to stir everything evenly. As soon as you like its consistency add the oatmeal into a bowl and top it off with some berries, coconut flakes, etc. Since the banana was pretty ripe it seemed sweet enough for me, but of course you can add some extra sweetener like maple syrup if you’d like :)

I hope you had a wonderful morning!
