Healthy Blueberry Smoothie

IMG_0681

It’s time for another smoothie boooowl! Normally I just stick to my raspberry-banana-cinnamon-bowls – since I never get tired of them and they’re so freaking good – but every now and I enjoy to switch them up a bit. And I really loved the result! There is no way to start a day better than with a super delicious, filling and healthy breakfast hehe. Especially if it looks good, too. Hope you all a happy Wednesday! :)

Zubereitung

Method
Add the milk to your blender (you can choose any other type of milk. Personally I just really enjoy this one in the summer time). Next, cut apple, banana and avocado roughly into pieces and add them as well as the rest of the ingredients to the blender. Blend until everything is nice and smooth.
If you feel like the smoothie turned out too liquid, just add some extra chia seeds and wait until they’re soaked.
Use whatever topping you’d like for the bowl, I chose strawberries, banana, coconut flakes and chia seeds.

Spread love wherever you go! x

Chia French Toast / Arme Ritter

IMG_3564.JPG

I get asked by many people how to replace eggs in vegan meals like this one. There are so many ways e.g. mashed bananas, apple purée, oil, … aaaaaand chia seeds! It absolutely depends on the recipe what works best as a replacement. For french toast chia seeds are wonderful since they don’t have that much of a special taste plus the final consistency of the bread is just as good as if you were using eggs.

Zutaten/Ingredients (Serves 1)

1 EL Chiasamen
½ Tasse Reismilch
Zimt
Vanille
Ahornsirup
Toast

Meine Toppings:
Himbeeren
Schokosauce
Ahornsirup
Mandeln, Leinsamen, Hanfsamen
Cashew Mus
gepuffter Amaranth

1 tbsp Chia Seeds
½ cup of Rice Milk

Maple Syrup

My Toppings:

Zubereitung

Method
Mix your milk with your chia seeds and leave it to set for 10 minutes. Add vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup before you blend it.
Dunk each side of toast into the liquid until saturated. Finally fry the bread and serve it with some fruits, nuts, etc.

Enjoy! x
